Jessica M. McBride

Jessica McBride grew up on a ranch in southern Idaho and joined the Army at 17 years old.  She attended Boise State University and received her B.S. in Criminal Justice in 2009.  In 2014, she began law school at the University of Concordia School of Law in Boise, Idaho, and graduated in 2017.  During her time at Concordia School of Law, Ms. McBride served as the Vice President of the J. Reuben Clark Law Society and participated in the Immigration clinic.  She graduated summa cum laude and was ranked second in her class.

Ms. McBride gained experience in the legal field while working as an Associate Attorney at Perkins, Mitchell, Pope, and McAllister as an Insurance Defense litigator.  She is a member of the Idaho State Bar Professionalism & Ethics Section.

Ms. McBride began serving her country in the United States Army in 1997 at the age of 17.  In 2006, after nearly ten years, Ms. McBride left the Active Duty Army and moved back to Boise. A few years later, she joined the Idaho Army National Guard where she continued to serve until her retirement in 2024, having risen to the rank of Major.

Ms. McBride is the loving mother of three children and enjoys camping and traveling.  She is a martial artist and owner of Soul Self Defense, LLC and DragonFire Martial Arts, LLC.  Having trained in Tang Soo Do for over 35 years, Ms. McBride is an enthusiastic teacher and strives to improve her self-defense knowledge.
